When is kickoff — and how long are we open?

The Super Bowl is traditionally played on a Sunday evening, US Eastern Time. In Germany that means kickoff in the night from Sunday to Monday, usually around 12:30 AM. With the halftime show and the long commercial breaks, the game runs well into the early morning.

On this night we stay open until the game is over — not until our regular closing time. We announce the exact date and hours as soon as the schedule is set; you will find them here, on our NFL page and in the weekly overview under Live Sport.

Halftime show and the original commercials

For a lot of people the halftime show is the real reason to watch — with the American commercials a close second. Both run on the original feed here, not the German broadcast with studio talk in between. If you want the Super Bowl the way it airs in the States, this is the place.

And the kitchen is part of it: wings, loaded fries and burgers run later than usual on this night, so nobody gets through the second half hungry.

Free entry — but book early

Entry and reservations are free, and there is no minimum spend. It is, however, the busiest night of our year: without a reservation you may find a full house. That goes double for groups.

You can book any time of year through our reservation tool. As soon as the Super Bowl date is open, it shows up there as a night of its own.

From Clay Kaserne, Frankfurt and Mainz

From Clay Kaserne you are here in around 15 minutes, from Frankfurt in about 30 via the A66 and from Mainz in about 20. For the ride home in the middle of the night, check the night buses — or sort out a designated driver before kickoff.
