Watching the NFL in Wiesbaden: regular-season Sundays
For fans in Europe, NFL Sunday starts in the early evening. Since we now open at 1:00 PM on Sundays, you can settle in well before the early kickoffs instead of waiting around until the night. On Sundays we are regularly open until 11:30 PM.
The late kickoffs are where it gets tight — and that is exactly what our rule is for: when there is demand, we stay open longer. If your group wants to watch a late game, let us know a few days ahead and we will plan the night around it.
Playoffs and the Super Bowl in Wiesbaden
The playoffs are when the NFL reaches a wider audience in Germany too — Wild Card Weekend, the Divisional Round, the Conference Championships. Most of these games fall on weekends, which fits our Saturday and Sunday opening hours.
The Super Bowl is a fixed date for us. Kickoff is in the middle of the German night, so we stay open until the game is over — halftime show and original US commercials included.
Unlock Events: selected nights, announced separately
Some NFL games and other sporting events start in the middle of the night in Germany. For selected dates, we may announce an Unlock Event and open outside regular hours when there is sufficient interest. Whether an event goes ahead and its conditions are always stated in the specific announcement.
Fan clubs and larger groups can also contact us early about a particular game. An enquiry is not itself an event confirmation; only broadcasts we explicitly confirm are scheduled. Current NFL games and other broadcasts are listed in our live sports schedule.
Built for the American community in Wiesbaden
If you are stationed here, working here or just posted here for a while, you know the problem: the games you grew up with all happen while Germany is asleep. We are about 15 minutes by car from Clay Kaserne, and a lot of our regulars are serving members, veterans and their families.
Everything here works in English — the staff speak it and the menu is translated. And anyone with a valid military, veteran or Bundeswehr ID gets 10% off everything, every day we are open.
From Frankfurt, Mainz and the Rhine-Main area
A sports bar that actually shows the NFL is not on every corner in the Rhine-Main area. From Frankfurt you are here in about 30 minutes via the A66, from Mainz in about 20, and from Rüsselsheim, Hochheim or Taunusstein in under half an hour as well. The S-Bahn takes you to Wiesbaden main station; from there it is a 20-minute walk or a few stops by bus.
Coming in from the region? Book ahead — playoff Sundays and Super Bowl night get busy. All the ways to get here are on our location page.
American down to the details
A game like this needs proper food. We serve crispy wings, Buffalo wings, chicken fingers, loaded fries with brisket or chili cheese and BBQ spare ribs — plus pitchers for the whole crew and four house beers on tap.
Besides the NFL, NBA, NHL and UFC are a fixed part of the programme, MLB on request. Saturday college-football kickoff times are listed in the current schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Do you show the late Sunday night games?
On Sundays we normally close at 11:30 PM. When there is enough demand we stay open longer — let us know a few days ahead and we will plan it in.
Do you show the Super Bowl?
Yes. Kickoff is in the middle of the night in Germany, so we stay open until the game is over. Book early — it is our busiest night of the year.
What is an Unlock Event?
A separately announced late-night broadcast for a selected sporting event. When there is sufficient interest, we may open outside regular hours. The specific conditions are stated in the individual announcement.
Can fan clubs or larger groups request a game?
Yes. Contact us early with the game and approximate group size. We will check whether a broadcast outside regular hours may be possible; an enquiry alone is not a confirmation.
Is it worth the trip from Frankfurt or Mainz?
From Frankfurt you are here in about 30 minutes via the A66, from Mainz in about 20. A sports bar that reliably shows the NFL is rare in the Rhine-Main area — but on playoff Sundays and Super Bowl night, book ahead.
Do you have a military discount?
Yes — 10% off everything with a valid military, veteran or Bundeswehr ID, every day we are open.
