Why college football works perfectly from Germany

The noon ET kickoffs are the sweet spot for anyone living over here: 6 PM local means a full Saturday evening of football without waiting until the middle of the night. The 3:30 ET slate lands at 9:30 PM, so you'll get two full windows before we close. Primetime games (7:30 ET / 1:30 AM local) are the only ones we can't cover on a regular Saturday – Friday and Saturday we're open until 1 AM, and it can vary on event nights.

A real American sports bar in Wiesbaden

College football is about a lot more than the next NFL draft class. 100,000-seat stadiums, marching bands, rivalries that go back a century, and a fan culture that turns every fall Saturday into an event. That's exactly the vibe we want at AAB.

We're an American-style brewery and sports bar on Wilhelmstraße in the center of Wiesbaden: burgers, wings, loaded fries, craft beer brewed in-house and the full menu of American classics – with the game on every screen.

For the Wiesbaden military community

Whether you're coming from Clay Kaserne, Hainerberg, Aukamm or Mainz-Kastel, we're a short trip into downtown – about a five-minute walk from Luisenplatz.

Active duty, veterans and Bundeswehr members get 10% off everything with a valid ID. Details on our Thank You For Your Service page.

From college football to the NFL

Saturdays are for the NCAA, Sundays are for the NFL – and we show both. Early Sunday games at 7 PM local are a regular fixture at AAB, from the regular season through the playoffs and the Super Bowl.

Kicking off this week: the 2026 NFL opener, Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots, on the night of September 9 into September 10 – our first Unlock Event, where 20 free RSVPs open the doors for a 2:20 AM kickoff. All details on the NFL Kickoff in Wiesbaden page.
